This is a states expansion pack for use with the Hadron Particle Synthesizer. The focus of this pack is on using Hadron as a monophonic synthesizer driven by midi input. A special feature of Hadron as compared to other granular synthesizers is its ability to do frequency modulation of the grain rate, as well as simultaneously frequency modulating the pitch inside each grain. This can lead to organic pitch deviation effects and allows morphing between stable pitches and chaotic oscillators.
The states in the expansion may easily be combined with previously installed Hadron states. Even though the states have been specifically designed for use as midi midi driven monophonic synths, the user is encouraged to experiment combining them with states designed for other purposes (e.g. effect states), as this kind of combinatorial abuse may reveal unexpected and unheard sounds.

This expansion pack contains 16 new hadron states and also preset files that combines the states into complete instrument setups. Among these stataes you’ll find synths as “FmLeadGritAttack”, “ClavHammer”, “DualFmStepSyncFlip”, “DualFmThinSteps”, “FmVibroLead”, “FmStepsArpeggio” and many more.

The states in the expansion may easily be combined with previously installed Hadron states. Even though the states have been specifically designed for use as audio effects, the user is encouraged to experiment combining them with states designed for other purposes (e.g. synth states), as this kind of combinatorial abuse may reveal unexpected and unheard sounds.

The pack contains 17 Hadron states in the “fx” (realtime audio effects processing) category. Among these states you’ll find effects as “GrainVerb”, “RecessionVerb”, “SprayDelayPitch”, “OctTremolo”, “StopTime”, “StepFreeze”, “TransientPitcher” and many more.
